I'm returning this watch. The instructions were very complicated. I was never able to get the time on the face to match the voice read out. Also the print was to small to read with out a magnifying glass. Poor design for a product made for the visually impaired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Martinson Great "talkingwatch",
I was going to buy a large wrist watch because of my poor vision. The talking time watch is the perfect solution for my situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PrincessZoe this watch talks
The watch is big and easy to read, without my glasses. With the push of a button it says the time. When I am sleeping I can reach for the watch and push the button and know what time it is without turning on the lights, then I get to snooze longer. It also says the date with the push of another button.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ceil talking watch did not convert to EST
The watch did not convert to EST so that I could set the correct time and get it started. the directions and the watch functioning didn't coincide with each other. I have ordered other talking watches for my father in the past and never, never had such difficulty. I returned the watch on 2/13/14 and had to remove the back so the battery had no connection prior to mailing so the post office didn't think there was a bomb in the package. I couldn't turn off the alarm setting!!!!!!!!!!!!! The watch just would not let me! I called customer service to advise them I was returning the watch and removing the back for the reason noted above.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CowGirUp Disappointed in the lengthy verbage for functions.
The announcement of the date function is too wordy: "the year" 2014 needs to be removed. Also the word "and" in Two Thousand AND Forteen. When I push the button, I need the information quickly.....not lengthy. Also I don't need the words "The Time" is
I would have preferred just the minimum info such as:
8 PM (time function)
Thursday, February 13, 2014. (date function)

I cannot figure out how to stop the watch from announcing the time by the hour without pushing the button! I cannot find the directions. Can you please help? This watch is perfect for my mother who is legally blind and always wondering what day it is, but the hourly announcement is driving us all crazy!
