Rated 3 out of 5 by apt4567 Does the job
The quality is not as good as the same item ordered from your company three years ago. The material is not as sturdy and
the backing is not waterproof as earlier model was.

This is lightweight, has a velcro neck fastener in back & comes in navy and maroon. My 90-yr-old husband wears it all day long in his assisted-living place--because his Parkinson's makes him often drool. The white binding is where I used a pen to write his name in the neckline for an ID. I bought 3--to allow for laundry time. I DO recommend it.
However, when searching for it, I only listed 'adult bibs', so almost missed it. Do think the description should include BOTH 'shirt savers' AND 'adult bibs'.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chloe99 Excellent Product
This product does what it's supposed to do. That is, keep food and drink off regular clothing. And it is washable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gustavus Less useful as time passes
This is essential attire for our adult alzheimer's patient mealtime. The only problem is that after several "washings", the velcro fastener tends to fail which yeilds a messy blouse. I recommend a more robust velcro closure so we won't have to by them so often (which is probably a reason that you won't fix the problem).

Rated 4 out of 5 by LeeStock This product protects clothing from spills
This product does a good job of protecting clothing from food spills. It is long enough to cover the lap, but could be a little wider to also protect furniture. Overall, it performs as advertised.

My Mom is in a Nursing home. These savers are a greater choice than the terry clothe ones. I like these because they don't bleed through to the clothing. You could use either side, I've found. I put my Mom's name on hers with a non bleed ink pen and laundry label. I wish that the labels would come with the shirt savers. That would make them worth the price much more. Include the cost of the labels and they would be really worth the purchase.
A lady at the nursing home asked my brother where she could get these. I ordered her a set. 4 of these cost nearly $60.00. Then you have to purchase the labeling material and pen. If this was included, the price would be reasonable. As it is they are really too expensive. Terry clothe is cheaper, about half the cost.
