Scooter FAQ answers
Q.) Why does my machine still accelerate fast when my speed knob is turned down?
A.) The speed knob controls the top speed capable and has no effect on the acceleration rate. The acceleration rate is always controlled by the variable twist throttle.
Q.) How long does it take for my machine to charge?
A.) The charge time differs depending on the current battery charge. If very low, it can take up to 8 hours to fully recharge the machine.
Q.) Can I leave my charger plugged in all the time while the device is not being used?
A.) It is not recommended to leave the machine plugged in regularly, and can cause damage to the batteries. Once the device is fully charged and the light turns green, the charger is still applying a "maintaining voltage," which means the charger has not completely shut off.
Q.) How do I keep my machine stationary while not in use?
A.) There is an emergency brake tab on most our products, located on the hand brake(s). To activate, push the thumb tab attached to the brake handle towards the brake handle and begin squeezing the brake handle until the tab clicks inwards. Each emergency brake tab has two positions. Activate the second position to allow for the emergency brake to work as efficiently as possible.
Q.) What do all the button on the key fob do?
A.) The key fob has a total of four buttons. Each symbol has a separate function. The closed lock symbol will turn on the alarm system. The bell-shaped button acts as a panic button. The lightning bolt symbol activates the remote start (turns the machine on without inserting the key into the ignition). The open lock symbol turns the security system off and will turn the remote start off.
