BEST ANSWER: No, the wheels do not lock, but very easily could be with replacement rollers (2 locking rollers would be all you would need and the cost would be below $10.00). I absolutely love this cart. Will probably order another one. Wish they made a larger one also. Good quality wood, not pressboard. Very sturdy. Attractive.

I double checked; and no the casters cannot be locked. I have not had any issue due to not locking.

No, the casters cannot be locked. But I keep my cart on carpet, so there's no problem.

how high is this. 24" from the floor isn't very tall?

BEST ANSWER: The 24 inches is jut the right height for at the end of the sofa or beside a bed I use mine at the side of a recliner. It is great and I really love it.

I did't get measuring ape out but it is 24" tall; the casters probably add to the height..
